Pioneer missionaries Nils & Andrea Olson, who were sent out from old Bethel Temple in January, 1978 to JAPAN and established the Munakata Bethel Christian Center, will be passing their leadership baton to associate pastors James & Tracy Xavier in a special “Changing of Pastoral Leadership” service scheduled for November 13, 2016.
New pastors James & Tracy Xavier were sent out almost six years ago from the River of Life Fellowship in Kent, WA by Pastors Jack & Joyce Holt to work with Nils & Andrea. They have been well mentored and are ready to receive the baton and begin building upon the foundation that has already been laid.
As President of BFI, Floyd & Alice Earlywine were originally invited to attend the November 13th “Changing of Pastoral Leadership” service, but for health reasons and the great distance it is to travel, they are not able to make the trip. Therefore, it is the desire of BFI Leadership to appoint BFI’s Bible Fellowship Pastors Jeff & Cheryl Earlywine to represent BFI at this special ordination service. James & Tracy’s pastors, Jack & Joyce Holt, have already confirmed their plans to attend.
We would ask, now, that you would very prayerfully consider making an offering toward Jeff & Cheryl’s airfare expenses. The cost for airfare and expenses, plus an offering for the local church will be approximately $3500. BFI wants to send its representatives to encourage the Olsons at this time of transition. From November, Nils & Andrea will no longer be Senior Pastors of the church, but Senior Missionaries continuing to represent BFI in Japan.
Once again, we ask that you prayerfully consider this NEED as an important one. There are two ways by which you can send your response, the quickest and most efficient way being:
- To simply click on this link to send your donation directly:Â https://www.paypal.me/BFI
- Or, you can mail it to: Bethel Fellowship Int’l, c/o El Tora Cabe, 1121 244th St SW #27, Bothell, WA 98021. Make checks payable to BFI, with a MEMO: for Japan airfare.
