Brother Offiler wrote in the foreword of the original 1933 publication, “No one has ever tried to locate the world of God called Heaven, yet it is a subject of the most intense interest to every Christian, for every believer in the Gospel does believe in a real, tangible and actual Heaven. From the beginning of time men have believed in a Heaven as the home and throne of God. Christian believers in the church today believe in God, and they believe in His Heaven, but where that heaven is, they do not know. They have not the slightest concept as to where His dwelling place may be. All that seems to be known is that it is up somewhere in the realms above. Out of  sight. Far off  in the infinitude of space.”

Offiler writes “The Resurrection is the Crowning Glory of the Atonement; the Seal of God upon the Finished Work of His only begotten Son; the Divine Oracle committed to the Church for its perfection, and for the bringing forth of a ‘Glorious Church’ that is without Spot, or Wrinkle, or Any Such Thing.”
